Daemon was a Villain and member of Jintae's Gang. He was once a victim of the Project Newborn conducted by scientists associated with the Hero Clan.

After fighting with the Nameless for the second time, he was killed by Hero Killer.

Daemon The horrors of Project Newborn never left him, fueling a deep-seated hatred for the Hero Clan and their so-called heroes.

History

Daemon’s early life wasn't fully known, but he is believed to have been born around the dawn of the Age of Heroes and Villains. At some point, he was abducted and became a subject of Project Newborn, a research initiative designed to convert regular humans into Gift Users. Branded "AK14" by the researchers, Daemon endured brutal experiments meant to enhance his body, though most of his fellow test subjects perished.

During his time in the project, he met another test subject, John Nash, as well as the scientist Vector, who was deeply invested in the research. Daemon developed a deep hatred for Vector, though the scientist remained indifferent, never even bothering to learn his real name.

Only a handful of test subjects survived. Among them were Daemon, John, and a young boy named Zaran. While Daemon lay unconscious inside a tank, the head scientist observed him with fascination, believing that Artificial Gift users had surpassed ordinary humans.

However, before further advancements could be made, Vector, consumed by guilt over his role in the project’s atrocities, activated his Gift, opening portals to random locations across the world. In the ensuing chaos, it is presumed that Daemon was transported elsewhere, lost to the world.

Daemon’s actions following his escape remain unknown, but he adapted to his new life as a Gift User and chose the path of a Villain. Years later, a now older Daemon crossed paths with the notorious Jintae Yang and forged a close friendship with the infamous villain. Through Jintae, he also met Condor, a formidable warrior and former royalty from the lawless land of Grodnensa, and Sapphire, Jintae’s girlfriend. Eventually, Daemon joined their ranks, becoming a member of Jintae's Gang.

Daemon is seen with Jintae Yang and the rest of their Gang as they meet with Tokata and Scar, the leaders of Vendetta.

Assault on Castle Gray Arc

After finally defeating Jintae Yang, Hero Killer is forced to make the decision between relinquishing all of the Gifts she's collected since the start of her journey to make a proper Breakthrough as Hekate uses Bridle of Silence to cushion the intensity of The Torch.

Remembering Engen's advice to her, a very reluctant Ihwa gives in. In that moment, Jade, a frighten Grayman, and all the other Villains and heroes that she's killed appear to bid her good luck an angry Ihwa accepts and sets them all free as they run into the "light."

Abilities

Overall Abilities: Daemon was granted the abilities of a Gift user after being experimented on in the Project Newborn. Originally an ordinary human, he was able to gain a powerful Polymorphic Gift as well as the strength, durability, speed, and longevity of the average Gift user.

While not as infamous, Daemon was a hidden menace and be considered another heavyweight within Jintae's Gang. During the Villains' attack, he personally killed a prominent hero of Cloud Garden with ease and in his fight with Rachel Sinclair , the young villain liken his overall prowess to be greater than Jintae's before he absorbed The Torch.
