Episode 1 is the 1st episode of the Hero Killer web comic.
Synopsis[]
A hostage situation is underway in the city between the police and clown masked, armed terrorists with situation escalating with threats of killing their hostages.
The policemen express annoyance at the late absence of the assigned hero when said hero suddenly arrives at the scene. Jade, showing nonchalant arrogance at their attitudes, tells the “extras” that they can leave now while his body crackles with electricity and disappears in a flash. Jade reappears at the top of the building in front of the terrorists. While surprised, one of them tells the hero to stay back or he’ll kill a hostage but Jade, in another blinding flash, asks him what about the hostage as the terrorist realizes that they're dead. A grinning Jade shows his disbelief that such trash killed the hostage while the terrorist and his accomplices attempt to shoot him, but his face is blown apart. Jade uses his super speed to grab one of the masked terrorists and forces them to massacre the hostages by shooting them all, he then proceeds to eradicate the terrorists while carrying out “justice”.
In the midst of Jade destroying them, a young woman in a red hoodie and wheel chair bound man watch the hero’s activities from outside. The woman asks if that’s him while the wheel chaired man responds yes and that with his death, her training will be complete. Into the night, the woman tracks Jade to his favorite hangout at a local nightclub, the Anarchist. She immediately makes her presence known by beating up the club’s security. While enjoying the company of his groupies, Jade becomes aware of the woman as she stands behind him and proceeds to attack.
The woman blocks Jade’s strike and begins her fight with the hero, injuring his arm before he notices.
