Abilities[]

Overall Abilities[]

Highnoon is a formidable Gift User, combining deadly skill, unwavering confidence, and a love for chaos. Before her defection, she was a high-ranking hero within the Hero Clan, serving as the right hand of Fullmoon. Her status placed her above Dan, the highest-ranking commander of The Legion in Cloud Garden.

She is notorious for her boldness and near-fearlessness, having confronted Raxfer Sinclair over his actions during the Hero Trials and boldly threatening Ledium, both of whom possess abilities on par with members of the Special Forces. Her reputation within the clan fueled a sense of lunacy and unpredictability, making her both weary of and to be underestimated.

Gift[]

Image Description
Midday Blast Highnoon’s Gift allows her to create and summon a yellowish-golden blaster-like gun using her EST. She can then fire bullets that are entirely under her control, enabling her to manipulate their trajectory with precision.[1]

The most defining trait of the Gift is its ability to reflect any damage inflicted upon Highnoon back to her opponents. This effect is triggered when a bullet from Midday Blast strikes a target, establishing a "link" between Highnoon and the opponent. Once linked, any harm she sustains is instantly redirected to the connected target, forcing them to experience the damage in her place.[2]

Midday Blast also appears to possess a secondary ability of immense regeneration, allowing Highnoon to rapidly repair any damage inflicted on her while the Gift is active.

Physical Prowess[]

Expert Combatant: Highnoon is a cunning and unpredictable fighter whose abilities reflect her deceptive nature.[3] She thrives in chaotic situations, using quick movements, trickery, and unexpected tactics to keep her enemies off balance. By skillfully linking her Midday Blast bullets to her targets, she forces opponents to hesitate, knowing that any harm inflicted upon her will be reflected back at them.

While she lacks proficiency in hand-to-hand combat, she compensates by strategically utilizing her abilities, allowing her to hold her own against physically stronger opponents.[4] This psychological edge makes her an exceptionally dangerous combatant despite her lack of direct combat strength.[5]

Expert Gun Wielder: Highnoon is a highly skilled gunslinger with pinpoint accuracy.[6] Wielding her two long-barreled revolvers, she can fire multiple shots in quick succession, eliminating targets before they have a chance to react.

Her skill was demonstrated when she accurately wounded Vector’s leg after taking him hostage and effortlessly killed lesser Villains.[7] While her marksmanship does not match her brother’s abilities, her Midday Blast complements her unpredictable fighting style, serving as an effective deterrent against stronger opponents.

Knife Proficiency: Although primarily a gunfighter, Highnoon is also adept with knives. She confidently wielded them during her encounter with Hero Killer, using them to threaten her during their exchange. Her belt is equipped with multiple throwing knives, which she uses with deadly accuracy when enemies get too close.

Superhuman Durability: Highnoon is surprisingly durable.

Superhuman Senses: Highnoon has trained her senses to a heightened level, enabling her to detect movement. She was able to sense an approaching Ijincheon leaving the Forest of Immortals after reacting to the sheer pressure in the air surrounding the famed warrior.[8]

High Pain Tolerance: Highnoon exhibits a remarkable ability to withstand pain as par the nature of her Gift and survived being "punished" by an angry Hero Killer.

Superhuman Reflexes & Speed: Highnoon’s reaction time is inhumanly fast, allowing her to quick-draw her guns and counter opponents before they can strike. This, combined with her agility, makes her an elusive and formidable in battle.

Weaknesses[]

Whack of Discipline

Highnoon, unlike her brother, is far weaker in matters of close combat. Moreover, Midday Blast is primarily effective against one-on-one opponents, limiting its versatility in battle situations against multiple opponents. It is suggested that it can only target one person as a time.

The Gift was also shown to be render inactive when facing its ability as Hero Killer was able to take advantage of Midday Blast during her punishment against Highnoon.[9] Aside from her prowess, she often underestimates her opponents, especially if they manage to keep up with her antics and while proficient in melee fighting, she is at a disadvantage against experienced fighters who specialize in close-range combat.[10]
