Islotta Rainfall (이슬로타 레인폴), also known as White Beast of Annihilation and The Master Swordswoman, was a powerful Gift User and the late wife of Chain.

She was one of the first recorded vessel for a fragment of The Torch and one of the leading heirs during the War of Inheritance. Aside from Engen, she was of the most powerful heirs in the vindictive war as well as the most merciful, but she ended up becoming a hated enemy of The King of Nera and died during a conflict with the mad king.

Personality[]

Islotta's Kindness

Islotta was a kind, charisma, and extremely compassionate woman. This was a quality that separated her from the rest of the other heirs of the Nera inheritance as she was merciful and accepted those who had surrendered or lost to her.

As a sword wielder, Islotta fully understood the romanticism associated with wielding a sword regardless of having other extraordinary abilities or talents.[1]

History[]

Not much is known about Islotta's overall life, but she was mostly likely born after the Chaotic Era. It's unknown whether she was abducted or willingly decided to join the King of Nera's followers.

At some point, the King's power reached its limit as his body could no longer handle the capabilities of The Torch. The King would gather his strongest followers, among them being Islotta, to make a proposition. Whoever conquered the most districts would inherit everything that he had. And thus the War of Inheritance begin. Among the hundreds of powerful heirs, Islotta stood out as being the best as she even outclassed Engen.

Through her overwhelming and sheer strength, she invaded and conquered the largest number of districts. But Islotta showed mercy, unlike the rest of the heirs, and was loved by all for it. During the war, Islotta met Chain, another participant of the war. She fell love in with him and didn't want Chain to face the dangers of becoming the new king of Nera, simply wanting to be together with him.

However, the King of Nera despised Islotta for her merciful approaches and was overrun by envy as he desired to burn down the entire world. An army was formed and sent to hunt her down. On the night of a full moon, she died. [2]
