Narkle Encilion (나클 엔실리온) is a powerful Gift user affiliated with the Master of the Clan and an assumed member of the Hero Clan's Council. He was revealed to be the brother of Bishop, a member of the Elders and ruler of Cloud Garden.

He is currently supporting the Skysword in the civil war between him and his brother's faction.

Appearance

Narkle has a similar face to his brother but is taller than him with black eyes and black wavy hair that has a middle parting. For clothing, he wears a dark blue robe that covers his dark grey uniform and a cape.

Personality

Narkle's overall personality isn't fully known but he mirrors his brother's, Biship in some ways as he too is an extremely intelligent man with a wise and deep outlook on life and his generation.

History

Narkle was born over a thousand years ago in the days of Chaotic Era but his early life is a complete mystery as nothing is known about it aside being the brother of Padrius Encilion.

The lives of these two brothers in this period is unknown but it appears that they used to mingle with politicians and old nobles in an aristocratic lifestyle as both brothers developed impressive ability in political maneuvering and knowledge. However, at one point, the two had some sort of falling out or simply didn't get along to the extent that Narkle disowned his last name.

Narkle's later activities and life during the Chaotic Era is unknown but he would be counted amongst the Elders Generation, the generation of Gift users born around the same time as members of the Elders.

Centuries later, Narkle would join the Hero Clan, the organization created by the famed Skysword, the newest Elder who had defeated Yushin. It's unknown if he fought in the Great War.

Story

District 17 Assault Arc

Narkle is seen reading a book and relaxing during Yushin's speech about the "wheel spinning" again and the incoming change of the era.

Assault on Castle Gray Arc

After the Smiling Man’s announcement of Nera’s resurrection and with civil war erupting in the clan, Narkle and Loyalists of the Master appeared before him. Consisting of The Punisher, Paladin, Azure Dragon, and Highnoon, the Master tasked them with stopping Engen and the Villains while he prepares to fight with Bishop.

The Task Force travel to Castle Gray's territories on foot. Dalia Mendoza expresses her respect for the chance of fighting alongside as the assassin calls him "Lord Encilion"

Days later, the group easily cross the Forest of Immortals, however, they unexpectedly encounter Ijincheon, the Executioner of the Four Swordsmen. While the Punisher is weary of his sudden appearance to the point of drawing out her Gift, she tells him that the Hero Clan is curious about him and his strength as she briefly remembers his title as "The Incompetent One" amongst the previous Executioner's pupils, but Ijincheon brushes off her questions and tells them not to mind him as he’s just passing through.

As the Punisher remembers her shuttered memories, Ijincheon changes his mind and decides to tag along with the group of Heroes as they track down Engen and the Villains.

Etymology

• Encilion could be a form of the Welsh word "enciliad," meaning "retreat" or "withdrawal," suggesting qualities of introspection or solitude which could imply something more abstract, like a "gathering of retreats" or "wisdom of withdrawal."
