The One Blade - Thunderous Slash (일도(一刀) 뇌검일살 (雷劍一殺) is an ultimate swordsmanship technique that was created by the legendary swordsman The Executioner of the Silver Forest in part due to his disabilities and his desire to perfect a single sword technique that would kill an opponent with no need for a follow up attack.

The One Blade - Thunderous Slash is an all-out attack that abandons all other aspects in favor of immense speed. From the perceptive of an opponent, an enormous amount of killing intent and bloodlust is focused entirely on them that can cause a weaker-minded individual to freeze in their tracks or to envision a gruesome death. [1] When the technique is used by a more experienced and skilled user, the target is already dead on the ground while split in half.[2]
History[]

In his youth, The Executioner created and used the technique to defeat countless opponents. His feats and signature ability to instantly kill an opponent in a single strike eventually earned him the name "Executioner".
The Executioner would teach his signature technique to each one of his students later in his life. His former students - Farza, two others, and the successor of his title, Ijincheon. After dying in his final duel with Yushin of Yerim, a handful of individuals were known to be masters of the technique, however apart from them, Yushin of Yerim came to learn and master the technique after defeating the Executioner.
Story[]
The Executioner's final story being told to Ihwa by Yushin.
Centuries after the Executioner's death, Yushin taught the technique to Ihwa, his disciple and the youngest daughter of the Executioner's successor, Ijincheon. The former Elder also told the young girl a little bit about their fight and how he came to learn about technique.
