Rain Dance (비의 제전, lit. "Festival of Rain") is the Gift used by Bishop. It allows him to generate and manipulate water.
Description[]
The Gift enables Bishop to conjure and freely manipulate water in its liquid form, making it move and change shape however his whim dictates. The Gift's sheer scale and versatility, coupled with Bishop's centuries of experience, makes it one of the strongest abilities seen so far amongst elemental based Gifts. Notably, Bishop's eyes glow blue when exerting his EST.[1]
Bishop seems to be able to both create water ex nihilo, as well as draw moisture from nearby environments to fuel his attacks.[1]
Usage[]
Bishop is capable of manipulating water to interact with physical objects in a precise manner, for small and mundane tasks like opening doors and setting tables, to larger feats like stopping the out-of-control Victoria Express in its tracks.[2]
Bishop can shape water into any one of multiple forms, from countless raindrops that have such density, they can cleanly pierce through flesh,[3] to intense but complex waterspouts, streams, etc., to simple shapes like a hand or more complex constructs, like gigantic hydrokinetic creatures that can shoot out waterjets sufficiently pressurized to cleave the ground apart across kilometers, as well as tsunami-like waves.[1][4]
The reach of Bishop's Rain Dance extends to the sky itself, allowing him to influence the weather and clouds to create powerful rainstorms that can tear apart Gift users' bodies with devasting power and precision, while singling out those he wants to kill with it and leaving others unharmed.[3]
With combat-effective at all ranges, Bishop can use his water to blow apart enemies without damaging his surroundings and create gigantic weaponry (especially giant blades) in a similar fashion to Victoria's A Beautiful Dream, which can destroy entire land or cityscapes.[1][5]
Defensively, he can create shields of water of varying sizes and tangible water that allows him to levitate and fly in a similar manner to both Victoria and Engen, chiefly by forming a pair giant water wings on his back.[6][1]
Weaknesses[]
So far, the Gift does not appear to have any outward weaknesses.
