The Special Forces (특급 전력), also known as Ace heroes, are a group of powerful heroes recognized by the Hero Clan for their combat abilities alone. The members of the forces exist outside of the normal hierarchy of the Hero Clan, with at least one being posted to every district as an emergency reserve.

Strength

Subjectively, the members of the special forces are typically the strongest heroes in each district controlled and overseen by the Hero Clan.

Objectively, the special forces are a key benchmark of strength for Gift users of the clan. Other than the Elders, they are the only known group with a fairly uniform standard of strength and ability.

According to Terror Knight, they are said to be so strong that only an Elder could confidently defeat them. It is unknown how wide the gulf is between a special force and an Elder. Still, it is known that there are Villains who are stronger than the typical special force. In addition, Victoria regards some members of the special forces as "relatively accomplished" heroes who are still growing.

Overview

The known active members include Prosecutor of Cloud Garden in District 16, who was captured by Villains in the transportation of The Torch and used as a human weapon by the Puppeteer during the Invasion of Castle Gray. He was recently released from the villain's control but became imprisoned by them. Paladin of YS Harbor in District 21 who was once involved in Operation Dusk, a woman named Ledium and Azure Dragon, the older brother of Crimson Dragon, who was killed in action, Terror Knight who was reassigned to Dust City to replace Chaos, and Saint Light one of the most popular heroes in the clan for District 1.

Former members include Chaos, who retired from being a hero and left the clan after surviving the Nameless's attack on Dust City.

Other members of the clan like Hekate, Narkle Encilion, and Raxfer Sinclair all rival the forces in terms of power and combat ability, but it is unknown if they are officially members of the same designation.
