Verdancy is the Gift used by Rachel Sinclair and the late Elder, Reagan Sinclair as well as his other children. It allows them to create and control life forms of the Plantae kingdom that encompass all living things relating to plant life and pre-existing flora.
The Gift enables its user to generate plants and freely manipulate them in whatever form they dictate. The Gift is vast in its versatility and depending on the user's experience, it has endless possibilities making it one of the strongest materialization-based Gifts.
Aside from whatever plants that they create, a user can affect the nearby plant-life around them, conjure plant life dominated environments like forests, swamps, and etc. while also influencing their life cycle.[1]
Usage[]
The usage of the Gift differs heavily between its users but there are a few commonly shared abilities among them. For instance, users can sense plants created through the Gift [2] and increase their mobility by riding the plant stalks, or wood branches.[3]
Having been the first one, Reagan's Underworld Verdancy was the most powerful version of the Gift. In his first use, he transmuted the heads of would-be opponents into "bouquets" through a simple gesture from his hand after awakening the Gift.[4]
The reach of his Verdancy extended across vast distances, having dominated the entirety of Castle Gray's environment for centuries, which he could manipulate however he wanted, like expanding the branches of his trees into large, giant trunks that were capable of darkening the night skies [5], controlled the living Forest of Immortals's growth as he subtly expanded it, and also created The Seed, a form of "tagging" that kept track of all his subjects, allies, and family living in his domain.
Unlike his children, his Verdancy was oriented toward creating dead-looking and dead wood as a reflection of his dry and grim personality that he could shape into a variety of objects like his armor gauntlet to more complex constructs in the form of gigantic grim-looking choirs of treant trees, near endless mazes of wooden pillars, etc. [6]
With his combative knowledge and sheer power, Reagen could generate destructive beams of EST capable of obliterating the landscape, create armies of wooden soldiers to fight for him, and construct high-powered javelins for long-range artillery.
Defensively, he could create wood shields of varying sizes, like a small bundle of thorns capable of crushing whatever was in its hold, and ride wooden stalks to increase his mobility, similar to his children.
Possessing the most unique version of the Gift, Rachel Sinclair's Verdancy is completely different in its abilities. In her very first use, she was able to recreate a flower from her memory through simple visualization and created a field of flowers awakening her Gift.
Her Verdancy is geared towards creating vines with white oleanders and a variety of flora greenery as a reflection of her bright personality and love of gardening. She can shape these into binding to trap her opponents, plant small seeds to blow apart a person with a single blossoming and create chlorokinetic objects like vicious weaponry to giant leafs capable of unleashing fierce winds.
However, Rachel's most unique power is her ability of creating an entirely separate extra-dimensional "realm" where she reigns. By using her plant stalks, she can transport opponents into her "garden".[7]
When inside her garden, Rachel can manipulate anything to her very whims like changing her appearance to amplify her powers as well as heal any wounds that were inflicted from the outside. Whether this realm exists as a separate dimension is unknown, but Rachel was able to connect it with the inner mind of Project Yggdrasil.[8]
Like Rachel, Raxfer's Verdancy geared towards creating vines with blue oleanders but was far stronger and experienced. Raxfer was able to create a near unbreakable barrier of vines around the Hero Trials's testing ground that the candidates couldn't break through even with their individual Gifts in use in the first showing of its power.
Weaknesses[]
The Gift is versatile in its power but has quite a few weaknesses. Like any plant, the Gift is weak against abilities that possess features of or use Pyrokinesis. This was seen when Engen, the Smiling Man clashed against Reagan's Verdancy as the Elder's strongest defensive techniques were overwhelmed by his Tapana and Pratāpana, the villain's "ultimate sword" which put even his empowered "ultimate shield" into a stalemate.

The Seed
Reagen attached individual seeds from his Verdancy into the bodies of all his subjects, allies, and family living in Castle Gray. This ability was a form of "tagging" that tracked and studied them in the harsh, snowy environment while also keeping them obedient under his control.[9] However, the true purpose of The Seed was revealed to not only drain its victims of their lifeforce but also act as fodder for Project Yggdrasil to grow.
Underworld Verdancy (황천대수해, lit. Catastrophic Flood of the Underworld)
Reagan's Verdancy reflected his dry and grim personality, as it was oriented toward dead-looking trees without a single leaf and dead wood.
He could shape these wooden constructs into a variety of objects from small bundles of thorns capable of crushing whatever was in its hold to more complex constructs, like gigantic grim-looking choirs of treants capable of firing EST energy beams, near endless mazes to entrap and crush his opponents, wooden soldiers ready to attack, and high-powered javelins.[10]
Advent of the Ancient One
Pillars of ancient wooden towers emerge from the ground in large numbers. It can bend to crush the opponent
Treant Choir
Reagen creates and raises a giant wooden dome with eerie human-like faces. Like a choir in services of him, the faces open their mouths to unleash destructive beams of EST from multiple angles.
Forest Wave
Reagan unleashes a widespread crushing swell wave of massive wooden stalks against an opponent.
Wooden Parasol
A defensive technique, Reagen creates a wooden parasol to block an opponent overreaching attack from above while protecting him.
Tree Wave
Like Forest Wave, Reagen unleashes a wave of massive wooden stalks from the right and left to engulf an opponent in a crushing swell.
Netherworld Scepter
A technique inspired by Yushin's combat philosophy. Reagan stabs his armor gauntlet into in order to absorb the EST from the surrounding branches of Project Yggdrasil and transform the gauntlet into a golden Amorphophallus titanum, the titan arum with a glowing hue. With it bloomed, he can shoot thin, sharp beams of EST at his opponent from long range, the beams possess tremendous force and can easily pierce through the defenses of those comparable to Elders. Additionally, it can also be used as a close-quarter weapon.[11]

Garden of Solitude
Her signature ability, Rachel possesses the incredibly rare ability of creating an entirely separate extra-dimensional "realm" where she reigns. This "garden" is filled with overflowing plant life like green grass, herbs, creepers, and etc.
Violet Rose
Rachel places a special type of flower weed that's ingenious to the harsh snowy land of Castle Gray where it grows in between the cracks of rocks to blossom into a beautiful purple rose. Rachel first used this technique to blow apart Stonefist's arm in their fight.
Cosmic Horror
Rachel's special combo technique with Vector. It is created by Vector generating multiple portals and letting large amounts of her Verdancy rush through. As powerful as this combo attack is, it will drain them for a few days with it being extremely EST costing. [12]
Leaf Fan
Rachel creates a gigantic leaf to unleashes fierce gusts of wind.

Description
Platinum Verdancy
The foundation of Raxfer's Gift and the foundation for all of his technique variations. Platinum Verdancy summons a gigantic tree, within Raxfer's proximity range, through this technique, he can fight by the high ground and also get a bird's eye view of his opponent. The tree itself is made of massive EST quantities and appears to be able to create immense amounts of light. The contents of the tree can be used to create weapons to Raxfer's will, such as spears made from the leaves of Platinum Verdancy or homing sharpened branches to impale the target.
Platinum Waterfall
A ranged technique created by a collection of Platinum Verdancy's floral spears, Raxfer rains the spears downward into or around the target, surrounding them. The spears then unravel themselves and ensnare the target with massive strings of vines, similar to a cobweb.
Platinum Paradise
Raxfer lets loose massive quantities of seeds or pollen, covering the entire vicinity with a golden light. The seeds then connect with the natural trees and plants surrounding the forest to bloom and have the natural flora around the vicinity illuminate. Upon inlaying these seeds and fusing them with the tree, Raxfer can then activate more techniques.
Divine Garden Shear
As the name suggests, all the flora created or augmented by Platinum Paradise have their vitality removed and merged, creating a massive garden shear made of Raxfer's EST. The shear itself is capable of cutting through anything within its cutting range.
Divine Garden Shear - Divinity
By using one part of the Divine Garden Shear's blade, Raxfer throws the half-shear downward and impales the ground, making a huge, divine explosion from the impact.
Sacred Branch
Raxfer impales himself with a branch from Platinum Verdancy allowing him to create a massive tree whose branches ring in on itself, essentially creating a ring made of Platinum Verdancy. Raxfer can fire branches from the ring's exterior, destroying everything in its joint collision. The branch that impales Raxfer fills the impale wound and causes Raxfer to develop yellow rings and stripes all over his body, similar to the patterns of a tree's interior.
