Villains are the natural enemy of the heroes and thus the Hero Clan. Either appearing as an individual or a group, they have become outcasts due to their danger to society. Most of them are Gift users, with which they use to commit various crimes ranging from burglary to mass murder, etc.

History[]

The term or concept of "villains" became prominent with the appearance of a young man who had lost everything in his life. The man stumbled upon a shard known as The Torch while searching through some ancient runes. It granted him immense power in which he used to defeat and kill many district lords. In the aftermath of his onslaught, he created a kingdom for himself and named it "Nera" which meant "torch" in the ancient language. He became known as the King of Nera with power that rivalled the Elders.

The War of the Reeds[]

Around the same time, a man known as the Skysword, the present-day and future leader of the Hero Clan, went on the Crown Hunt as he defeated multiple district lords, eventually challenging the Elder Yushin. After an intense battle of seven days and nights, the Skysword immerged victorious, was hailed as an Elder by the people with his victory against Yushin. He would use his newfound resources and fame to create an organization called the Hero Clan on the basis of Justice. Once he formally established the clan, he immediately declared war on the remnants of Nera.

Not much is known about the war except that it continued on towards the earlier days of the current modern era. There were massive causalities on both sides during this conflict. As a result of the intense battles profound property damage was done to numerous areas and lands. An example of this being District 17's Dust City which was damaged from the war with battle scars lingering until the present day. This war led to the downfall of Nera as the Heroes would emerge victorious. This allowed the Hero Clan to ban the usage of the kingdom's true name, Nera and left the survivors with no name thus why they call themselves the Nameless.
